Corrib Riding Club is based at Duffy’s Equestrian Centre in Claregalway and is a member of the Western Region of the Association of Irish Riding Clubs (AIRC). All levels of riders are catered for from the beginner to those who compete at a high level. Riding club membership entitles you to compete at AIRC shows throughout the country in various disciplines, show jumping, dressage, hunter trials, and jump-cross and one-day events. Each discipline has a National Championship at which Corrib RC members have been very successful; taking a number of national titles.
Corrib RC members regularly qualify for the RDS Team Championship, having been placed 3rd at the RDS on two recent occasions. Lesson are organised throughout the year in different disciplines for members and social events such as Card night and a Roulette night were organised in 2010. AIRC Grading System Riders are graded according to their ability, rather than the ability of the horse. The club grading officer can help individuals decide what grade to join at.
